now the characters very well. You may feel like you know them, you may feel em
pathy for them, and you may get caught up in their emotions. But when you clos
e the book or leave the theater, you leave all that behind until you read or s
ee it again. You may have to do that now with a personal drama for someone who
is pretty close to you. You could easily get caught up in it, and it could af
fect your own mood. If you want to help, or just be a shoulder to cry on, you
need to put it down when you walk away.
當你閱讀一本好書或者看一部引人入勝的戲劇時，你會想去探究它的角色。
你覺得很了解他們、你會替他們感到悲傷、甚至陷入他們的情緒裡。
但當你闔上書本或者離開劇院時，你便把這一切留下，直到下次再閱讀或看見它。
你現在就遇到類似的麻煩，而這個人跟你很親近。
你很容易陷進去，而這也影響了你的心情。
如果你想提供幫助，就借他一個能夠哭泣的肩膀，
但當你走開時，請記得將它放下。
