They scrutinize another person's talents and put down their efforts because they feel that they are being judged, and so it's a bit of a defensive way of handling their own lack of confidence. By making themselves feel better than s omeone else, they don't feel as bad themselves. It's not a healthy approach, o f course, but understanding it can be liberating. If someone is being critical of you, Sagittarius, it may be because they fear they aren't as good as you a re at something.
