the idea of doing something positive, and that's what you did. However, the ob
ligations surrounding your pursuit may have gotten bigger or more complicated,
and that isn't what you signed up for. It isn't that you don't want to do wha
tever you can, but like everyone you are limited by time and other resources.
Just be honest about what you can offer, and insist that you stick to your ori
ginal plan.
