Parents often make sacrifices for their children. They may take on two jobs so
they can afford to send their kids to camp. They might spend three hours of t
heir Saturday at an arcade with them instead of relaxing. But because they lov
e their kids, they don't think of those things as sacrifices. You may be consi
dering working extra hard or giving something up for a goal. But if you are un
sure, figure out whether this feels like a sacrifice. If what you want is more
important than what you give up, then the answer should be easy.
父母親通常會為了孩子們做出犧牲。
他們打兩份工因此他們才可以支付他們孩子去露營。
他們也許在星期六陪孩子們在遊樂園裡玩三個小時而不是去放鬆。
但是，因為他們愛他們的孩子，他們不認為那些事情是犧牲。
你也許在考慮特別努力工作或者是為了目標而放棄某些事物。
但是如果你不確定，理解出來這是否像是犧牲。
如果你所想要的比你所放棄的重要，那答案應該會比較容易。
