國際同志運動會
國際的「同志運動會」（Gay Games）的慣例是
會對所有願意參與的人開放，不管他們的性傾向如何。

The Gay Games is a quadrennial athletic and cultural event
which brings together people from around the world. Based
on the principles of Participation, Inclusion, and Personal Best,
the Gay Games welcomes all people without regard to their
sexual orientation, gender, race, religion, nationality,
ethnic origin, political belief, athletic/artistic ability,
age, physical challenge, or health status.

同志運動會是四年一度的運動文化活動，集合來自世界各地的人。
基於大會的參與、包容、個人最佳表現原則，大會歡迎所有人，
不論性傾向，性別，種族，宗教，國籍，祖籍，政治信仰，
運動美術能力，年齡，生理障礙或健康狀況。

unjustified criticism from unjustified critics,
countless appeals to both friends and strangers
for funds, complex and perplexing issues,
mind boggling uncertainties, and conflicting
priorities. On the other hand, directors are
individually and collectively responsible for
making everything happen.- to provide or obtain
funding, to provide leadership and inspiration,
to maintain the fiscal integrity of the organization
and ethical integrity of the Games, to serve the
athletes and artists who take part in this world
changing event."

「可以預期一定會有長時間沒完沒了的會議，
充滿挫折的無謂爭議，補不回來的自掏腰包，
會有不公正的人發出不公正的批評，
會有無數朋友與陌生人申請經費，會有複雜
難解的議題，會有讓人退縮的不明情勢，
還有互相衝突的諸多優先順序。另一方面，
主辦者都要為達成所有的事負個人與團體責任。
像是提供或爭取經費，提供領導與啟發，
維持組織財務健全與活動的精神健全，
以服務參與這場改變世界的活動的運動員與藝術家。」
