What starts out as a very simple and straightforward conversation with a cowo
rker or a friend today could easily transform into a strange conflict. Someon
e may say or do something that is misunderstood, and if it isn't handled prop
erly and right away, it could descend into tricky territory. Keep in mind tha
t you can't guess what the other person is thinking and feeling, and vice ver
sa. If there are questions, you need to address them. This doesn't have to go
in a bad direction.
