If there is someone that you don't usually get along with but you discover
that you have a mutual passion for a certain cause or opinion, then your
differences may melt away, and you might get along quite well - for a
little while at least. If you are enduring conflict with someone now, you
may wish that things could be better. Try to imagine how it would be if
you were both on the same page with a passion of yours, and that can help
you to recognize that some of your hostility or incompatibility with that
person isn't all that important. Finding the good in someone can help to
dismiss less-desirable characteristics.
如果有一個不常相處的人，可是你發現你們對某件事或想法有共同的熱情，那麼你們
的差異也許就會消失，而你們可能會相處得很好——至少一陣子。如果你現在正在經
歷跟某個人的衝突，那你或許會希望事情會好轉，試著想像如果你們都在思考共同的
興趣，那會是什麼模樣？這會幫助你認清自己對那個人的敵意跟勢不兩立一點也不重
要，找出某個人的優點有助於除去比較不討喜的人格特質。
