A Hawaiian shirt might be a fun thing to wear for a day on the boardwalk
or for a backyard barbecue. It is colorful, lighthearted, and carefree.
But you would not wear such a shirt for a business meeting. Needless to
say, our attitudes are much like our attire in that way. A current
situation is not colorful, lighthearted, or carefree to a certain person
in your life - even if you find it so. You may be in a playful mood today,
but you need to shift gears for a serious conversation.
在海邊的木板路上散步或是在後院烤肉的時候穿夏威夷襯衫也許很逗趣，這是色彩繽
紛、輕鬆愉快又無憂無慮的。可是你不會在工作開會的時候穿這種襯衫，不需要多說，
衣著就會突顯出我們的態度。最近你生命中跟某個人的某個狀況讓你沒辦法快樂和無
憂無慮——就算你想要也沒辦法。你今天可能心情很好，想開開玩笑，但是你必須為
了一段嚴肅的對話而改變方式。
