If you cross a busy street outside the lines of a crosswalk, you may not
get hit by a car. The painted lines of a crosswalk don't really protect
you in the literal sense; they just designate an area that a great number
of drivers will recognize and respect. That is what could keep you safer.
It's all about calculated risk, Scorpio. You may be trying to venture
outside the lines in some endeavor. It may work out. However, if you
really want to play it safe, stick to the rules this time. It's no
guarantee, but it will enhance your potential for success.
